Meeting 'cousin' Koen
Last Saturday it was finally time for the boys to meet!
Not much football was played, maybe they were disappointed by the Dutch team at the world cup...

Bram is too big for the crib now... He still fits lengthwise, but he likes to wave his arms around and hits the sides. So we decided to let him sleep in the bigger bed in his own room from now on. Mommy misses him still )-:
It is strange to wake up next to the empty crib.
But Bram sleeps very well. He usually wakes up around 5 am instead of 3 am now, and sometimes even 6-6.30 am.

more space!
He can also grab his toys and hold on to them now! Another new and exciting development (at least for his proud parents...)

Sunday we went to the shipping museum to see the ABN-AMRO 1, the boat that won the Volvo ocean race. There was supposed to be a presentation and a simulator, but noone of the organisation showed up. Big bummer, since we went to the museum especially for the presentation. Bad ABN-AMRO! If I had an account with them, I would close it immediately...
But seeing the boat that sailed around the world so fast was cool.
The icky-colored boat in the background was a present of a wealthy Swiss to his daughter. It was christened the night before. According to a security guy the children even had diamonds in their shoes!

On one of the decks of the replica of the 'Amsterdam', an old VOC ship, I suddenly got this 'being John Malkovic'-feeling (-:
